DENVER (KDVR) — Another round of snow hit several parts of Colorado on Monday, leaving some areas with more than half a foot.
Heavy rainstorms hit the Denver metro on Sunday and Monday, but in other areas of the state, that precipitation turned into snow. While the city stayed wet, areas west of Denver saw snowfall through Monday night.

Jamestown recorded the most snow at 8.6 inches, while several other areas saw about half a foot. Aspen Springs, Nederland and Walden received about 6 inches of snow. While it snowed in higher-elevation areas, Denver only saw rain.
