A major Canadian retailer is set to receive a massive upgrade at Austin’s version of La Cantera in San Antonio.
Aritzia will be getting a $1.7 million expansion at The Domain shopping center in north Austin, according to recent state documents. A new construction filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) reveals that the clothing store located in The Domain is gearing up to get a big renovation/alteration at the end of the summer.
Construction for the upgrades at Austin’s only Aritzia is expected to begin on August 17 and is slated to wrap up by November 23, just in time for Black Friday and holiday gifting season. The scope of work for the project includes adding 1,155 square feet of retail space to Aritzia’s existing 7,013 square foot retail space.
In addition to its Austin storefront, Aritzia has five other Texas stores in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Southlake and Plano.
