2 people injured in Austin shooting spree now out of the hospital

AUSTIN, Texas — A man and a 16-year-old injured in a series of South Austin shootings earlier this month have been released from the hospital, according to their families.

The shootings occurred May 16-17. Three teenagers, including 17-year-old Cristian Fajardo Mondragon, have been charged in connection with 12 shootings that injured four people, including 16-year-old Jonathan De La Garza and Sean Fuentes.
