AUSTIN, Texas — A documentary and true crime podcast examining one of Austin’s most notorious murder cases are set to release this week, the product of years of reporting by CBS Anchor Walt Maciborski.
Maciborski teamed up with the Criminally Obsessed team to produce Celeste: Trophy Wife or Framed for Life, a documentary exploring the 1999 conviction of Celeste Beard in the shooting death of her husband, millionaire media executive Steven Beard. The documentary premieres Friday on CBS Austin’s YouTube.
Maciborski also produced a true crime podcast, Love, Lies and a Shotgun Shell, to go along with the documentary. Two episodes will premiere the same day…
