Austin Animal Services hosting free drive-through pet clinic Wednesday amid continual shelter overcrowding

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Amid a continual battle to deal with overcrowding at Austin’s animal shelter, Austin Animal Services and Austin Humane Society are hosting a free, drive-through pet clinic as a way to prevent more pet intakes at the shelter.

The drive-thru pet vaccine and microchip clinic will take place on Wednesday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to noon at Red Rocks Church in north Austin.
