AUSTIN, Texas — Authorities are searching for two suspects accused of stealing metal from an Austin construction site last month.
Austin Police Department (APD) detectives are asking for the public’s help locating two men who they believe entered the jobsite at about 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20 at 1125 Shady Lane, which is not far from Walnut Creek Trail.
Once on site, officials say the men used a crowbar to enter locked apartments that were undergoing construction. The next day, construction workers said two unit breakers were stolen from electrical panels. APD said 26 breakers were taken from the units, which cost about $10,000…
