A Houston-area homebuilder is making a major push into Central Texas, with plans to build roughly 900 homes across a dozen communities as it expands into the Austin market.
First America Homes, a division of The Woodlands-based Signorelli Co., announced Thursday it has opened a new Austin division and expects to build homes in 12 communities stretching from the Austin area to the San Antonio region.
The expansion includes the builder’s first three Austin-area communities: Blue Sky in Lockhart, Okra Creek in Manor and The Ridge West in Kyle. Together, the projects mark First America Homes’ official entry into the Austin market…
