AUSTIN (KXAN) — A missing man, previously the subject of a Silver Alert, was found dead after an “extensive search,” according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
John Stockwell, 88, was last seen June 12. A Silver Alert was issued by TCSO on June 13, but was discontinued the following day after Stockwell was found in a wooded area near where he was last seen, TCSO spokesperson Kristen Dark said.
