MUSTANG RIDGE, Texas — K9 Maya, a police dog with the Mustang Ridge Police Department, has received a bullet-and-stab-protective vest through a donation from the nonprofit Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., the department said.
The vest was sponsored by the organization and embroidered with the phrase “Born to Love – Trained to Serve – Loyal Always.”
