Private preschool more accessible with Texas education funds

TEXAS — More than 100,000 Texas students have been awarded funding through the state’s voucher program, Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA), also known as an Education Savings Account. As of June, nearly 11,000 preschoolers have received awards for the 2026-27 school year. It’s the grade level with the most students awarded.

Private preschools accepting this funding are seeing increased interest in enrollment ahead of the new school year. The Country Home Learning Center has 10 locations across Austin and San Antonio.
