Advocates call for stronger protections from cryptocurrency fraud

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Lawmakers were gearing up for the next legislative session, and some advocates have called for stronger protections from cryptocurrency fraud to protect older Texans.

AARP said it was worried about cryptocurrency kiosks, which allow users to convert cash into digital currency and transfer funds within minutes.
