AUSTIN (KXAN) — Starting Monday, Travis County will begin construction at Old San Antonio Road and Puryear Road, which is west of Interstate 35 and close to the Travis and Hays County line.
Puryear Road is a major cut-through that drivers use to get from the east side of I-35 to the west side, and even over to Twin Creeks Road, Farm-to-Market 1626, and State Highway 45 Southwest to MoPac—all to avoid I-35.
