Displaced tenants feel left in dark since fire at downtown Austin high-rise

AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) — Weeks after a fire in a downtown Austin high-rise, some tenants claim they have yet to return to their homes.

Around midnight Sept. 18, the Austin Fire Department responded to overheated wires/equipment on the 33rd floor of The Bowie near W. 5th Street and Bowie Street.
