A beloved neighborhood grill in Central Texas will soon be shutting its doors after 26 years in business. Pecan Street Station Deli and Grill announced on social media that it will be closing its one and only Pflugerville restaurant this week.
Owner Paul Prestridge said on Facebook that Pecan Street’s last day of operation will be Sunday, October 11. The restaurant has been serving the Pflugerville community since 2000, and its closure marks the third business loss in the north Austin suburb this year.
“To our employees, thank you for your hard work and dedication,” Pecan Street’s post said. “To our customers, thank you for every visit, every meal, and every memory. This place has been a huge part of my life, and I’m grateful to have shared it with you.”…
