Urban Egg, a Colorado-based breakfast and brunch restaurant, is expanding into the Austin area, with locations planned at 7600 Burnet Road, Suite 250, and in Leander.
The company’s first Austin location is scheduled to open October 12, while a second Austin-area restaurant is planned for Leander, with an expected opening in mid 2027, according to the Austin Business Journal. CEO Mark Augarten tells ABJ that Urban Egg plans to open more locations in the Austin metro, and the company is evaluating about three to four additional sites over the next few years. Customers at the new restaurants can expect breakfast and brunch dishes, coffee, and cocktails.
The Burnet Road restaurant will span approximately 3,500 square feet and will be Urban Egg’s first location in Austin. The company currently has 16 locations, including the incoming Austin restaurant, according to its website, with three existing locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
