Texas Man Runs Causes Deadly Crash By Running Red Light, Gets Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter

A Texas man is facing an intoxication manslaughter charge following an early-morning crash that left a 24-year-old woman dead. The Round Rock Police Department says 28-year-old Christopher Lundquist ran a red light before colliding with another vehicle on October 4.

Officers responded to the intersection of South Kenney Fort Boulevard and Gattis School Road at approximately 6 a.m. following reports of a two-vehicle crash. The department’s preliminary investigation indicates Lundquist had been traveling southbound on South Kenney Fort Boulevard immediately before the collision.

Police say Lundquist ran a red light and struck a vehicle traveling eastbound on Gattis School Road. The driver of that vehicle, identified as 24-year-old Shruti Amin, was pronounced dead at the scene…
