A strong cold front could reach the Austin and San Antonio areas by Friday, October 16, bringing a chance of rain and highs in the 60s. Local meteorologists say temperatures could drop by about 20 degrees, though the forecast may change as the system gets closer.
According to News 4 San Antonio Chief Meteorologist Chris Suchan, the strong cold front remains on trend to hit late next week. He says rain could even be in the forecast.
“Still trending toward a fairly strong cold front late next week. This front would bring a rain chance too. Pretty far out in forecast but early feel suggests potential for highs in 60s-70s are there, cool to chilly mornings too.”…
