Archer Unveils Electric Air Taxi Networks for Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth and Austin

Archer Aviation has announced plans to establish three electric air taxi networks across Texas, targeting Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth and Austin with proposed routes connecting major airports, business districts and regional destinations.

The Archer Texas air taxi network initiative is designed around the company’s all-electric Midnight eVTOL aircraft, with the goal of reducing travel times between heavily congested urban destinations. Archer envisions replacing certain 60- to 90-minute ground journeys with flights lasting approximately 10 to 20 minutes.

The proposed networks form part of Archer’s broader advanced air mobility strategy and preparations for operations under the White House’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).
