GEORGETOWN, Texas – Georgetown officials are looking to address one of the city’s busiest intersections: Interstate 35 and University Avenue, near Wolf Ranch Parkway. Community Impact reports that City of Georgetown leaders attribute the increased congestion to housing and retail development in the area and growth further west on Highway 29, between Georgetown and Liberty Hill.
