Teen critically injured in Monday morning shooting near McKinney Falls

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A teenager is in critical condition after a shooting near McKinney Falls early Monday morning.

Travis County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of shots fired around 7:30 a.m. in the 6600 block of McKinney Falls Parkway. The address of the incident matches the address of the McKinney Falls Apartments.

Austin-Travis County EMS said medics responded to the incident and took a teenager to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.
