AUSTIN, Texas – Detectives with the University of Texas Police Department picked up a stray pup in southeast Austin Thursday. According to the department, two detectives were in the area of Nuckols Crossing Road and East Stassney Lane to recover stolen property. That is when they spotted the lost dog eating something off the ground.
