A tragic early morning collision on N SH 45 in Austin has claimed the life of a pickup truck driver, officials reported. The crash, involving an 18-wheeler and a smaller vehicle, occurred in the 13400 block of the highway’s westbound lanes last Monday. The Austin Police Department arrived at the scene at approximately 6:46 a.m. following the incident.
