An Austin woman was arrested Wednesday on drug charges. Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 10:40, Officer Lauren Vieceli conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Lakeidra Patrice Carathers, 29 of Austin, was in possession of multiple THC vape pens. Carathers was taken into custody for Possession Controlled Substance and Unlawful Carrying Weapon. Carathers was transported to Washington County Jail where she was booked in and released to jail staff.
