Texas QB Commit Dia Bell Signs a Massive NIL Deal

The landmark introduction of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights forever changed the college football landscape, and the same seismic shift appears to be happening in high school football. Florida approved NIL rights for high school athletes earlier this summer, and Texas 2026 quarterback commit Dia Bell is taking advantage.

On Tuesday, On3’s Pete Nakos reported that Bell has agreed to an NIL deal with Leaf Trading Cards. According to Nakos, “it’s believed to be one of the most lucrative deals signed by a Florida high schooler since NIL became legal in the state last month.”

Bell is a four-star quarterback recruit out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Despite being just a junior in high school, he already has an NIL value of over $400K, according to the On3 database.

According to 247, Bell is ranked as the fourth-best quarterback in the class of 2026 and a top-25 recruit overall. Once he arrives in Austin, he should only have more opportunities for lucrative NIL opportunities.
