Former UCLA Head Coach Picks Winner of Michigan-Texas Week 2 Showdown

Week 2 of the college football season is quickly approaching and features some must-watch games. The biggest one of them all is Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff” with the Texas Longhorns facing the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor.

Both teams are ranked in the top 10 and entered the season in the College Football Playoff picture, so this is a huge game for both sides.

On Tuesday night, former UCLA Bruins head coach Rick Neuheisel, an analyst for CBS Sports, gave his prediction for the game and he picked Texas to win easily.

“They’re not only going to win, they’re going to whip ’em,” Neuheisel said. “Texas is that much faster, they’ve shown their physical, they held Colorado State to less than 200 yards. It’s not going to be a close game.”

It might seem like a bold prediction given the game is In Ann Arbor, but the Longhorns looked every bit like a national title contender in Week 1.

Against Colorado State, the Longhorns got the 52-0 victory and even saw Arch Manning get some action and throw a touchdown pass.
