When Chris answered Joanna’s icebreaker question on a dating app in June 2021, they hit it off right away. “If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?” Joanna shares. “He said flying, I said teleportation-there was much to debate.” In July 2023, Chris planned a romantic afternoon in Dallas. They stopped at an Argentinian bakery on the way to share some empanadas, and when Joanna asked to wait to head into the city until later in the day, when rush hour passed, Chris couldn’t wait and proposed to her right there and then. “I was elated!” Joanna says.
