AUSTIN (KXAN) — All southbound lanes are closed on Interstate 35 in north Austin after a crash involving a semi-truck Friday, the Austin Police Department said on social media Friday .
Officers responded to North I-35 southbound and West Parmer Lane for the crash. APD said metal poles being carried by the truck were “scattered on the road.”
Police said to expect traffic delays along I-35. Drivers should seek alternate routes, if possible.
