AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a deadly hit-and-run in South Austin in August. Police said officers responded to a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 700 block of the E. Ben White Blvd. service road westbound around 1:04 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The crash happened near the Murphy gas station.
