AUSTIN, Texas — Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with the December shooting death of a 17-year-old in a north Austin parking garage.
Joseph Geathers, 21, has been charged with capital murder in the death of Carlos Sotelo, according to an arrest affidavit. Two other suspects, Omarion Verse, 19, and Dedric Verse, 18, were previously arrested on the same charge.
The shooting occurred around 1:35 a.m. on December 13 at the Griffis apartments on Esperanza Crossing. According to the affidavit, Geathers drove a white 2024 Toyota Corolla to the scene with the other suspects…
