Intoxicated Texas Truck Driver Shows Zero Empathy After Killing 5 People in Crash: ‘Unbelievable He Had a License’

Heartless would be an understatement to describe the intoxicated truck driver who killed five people in a deadly crash on Interstate 35 in Austin, Texas. Police took 37-year-old Solomun Weldekeal Araya into custody for causing a 17-car pileup, which resulted in multiple deaths and life-threatening injuries. What infuriated many online users was how Araya could barely speak English and showed no empathy for taking people’s lives.

Araya was hired by ZBN Transports LLC, which is apparent by the logo on the semi-truck he was driving. Many believe it is appalling that the company would hire someone as incompetent in English as Araya. “I can not believe he is allowed to drive a truck. He can barely speak English nor understand it,” remarks a user on X. “Anyone that drives on the roads should be able to speak English. Especially in a commercial 18 wheeler. So dangerous,” seconds another.

People also pointed out how the Texas truck driver was wearing flip-flops, which is unprofessional and likely a safety hazard for someone handling a massive truck. Many also question if he’s even legal. But what’s most infuriating is how he doesn’t seem to care at all about the chaos he’s caused…
