When British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his crew visited Central Texas last year , many expressed curiosity online about why they were spotted at various restaurants in the area. Now, we know why.
Simmer Down Cafe in Georgetown was featured on this week’s episode of Ramsay’s, Kitchen Nightmares , a reality TV show that airs on Fox in which the celebrity chef spends a week with a struggling restaurant in hopes of turning the business around in a week. The episode aired less than a month after the television show aired two other episodes, featuring Grumpy George in Georgetown and Leo’s Italian Grill in Bastrop.
