Pecan Street Festival leaving Austin, moving to suburb

AUSTIN (KXAN) — After decades on Sixth Street in downtown Austin, the Pecan Street Festival is moving this spring. According to a press release, the festival will relocate to Bee Cave.

It will take place at the Hill Country Galleria on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4. Organizers said the new location offers more space, a welcoming atmosphere, and ample free parking.
