Police seek public’s help to identify suspect in S Austin gas station robbery

AUSTIN, Texas — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a south Austin gas station last month.

According to the Austin Police Department, the incident occurred between 1:45 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. on April 30 at a Chevron gas station located at 400 S. Congress Ave.

The suspect allegedly stole the victim’s wallet then used the stolen credit card to purchase cigarettes at a nearby gas station, police said…
