AUSTIN, Texas — The city of Austin is looking to address its current parking ticket enforcement strategy after a recent report from KVUE identified issues with the system.
The KVUE Defenders discovered that over the past five years, the city has failed to collect more than $7 million in unpaid parking fees for delinquent cases. These come from more than 160,000 owed tickets.
