One Dead, Two Injured in Riverside Drive Collision in Southeast Austin

A fatal collision in Southeast Austin has claimed the life of one individual and injured two others this past Saturday. The incident occurred on the 2300 block of Riverside Drive, shortly before 4 p.m., as reported by CBS Austin. Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on the scene to find one adult requiring CPR; however, the victim was later pronounced dead.

Following the crash, East Riverside Drive was temporarily closed to traffic between Burton Drive and Willow Creek as emergency responders worked at the site. One of the injured parties was transported to Dell Seton with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and the second declined transport after the accident, CBS Austin notes.
