AUSTIN, Texas — In a message to students Tuesday morning, Austin Community College (ACC) said that the Rio Grande campus was temporarily placed on lockdown due to reports of a person with a knife nearby.
The campus was on lockdown for roughly 10 minutes, starting at 8:15 a.m. while police searched the building, according to a press release from ACC.
