AUSTIN (KXAN)– The United States Postal Service has made its final decision to shut down its east Austin station and relocate its services elsewhere, according to a press release. This comes after a 30-day community feedback period.
Postal services at the East Sixth Street location,1914 E. 6th St., will be moved to a new facility located at 3112 Manor Road. The tentative location is about a three mile drive from the east Austin station.
