AUSTIN, Texas — Roughly 2,000 athletes from around the world filled Downtown Austin’s streets and waters on Monday for the 25th annual CapTex Triathlon.
It’s a Memorial Day tradition that organizers say kicks off the summer in style. The event, first held in 1991, has grown into a major draw for amateur and elite triathletes alike.
