Travis Co. deputy charged with DWI after another deputy pulled him over: TCSO

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A Travis County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested Wednesday morning after another deputy pulled him over, TCSO confirmed to KXAN.

William Haro, 58, faces a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released on personal recognizance around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. As of Thursday morning, no attorney was listed for Haro in Travis County court records.

According to an arrest affidavit, a TCSO sergeant pulled Haro over for allegedly driving 62 mph in a 50 mph zone. The sergeant told the TCSO affiant that he saw Haro’s eyes were “glassy” and red, alleging these were “indicators of impairment.”…
