World Market, a California-based furniture and home decor chain, is nearing its opening date at a new shopping center in North Austin. According to a news release, guests can stop by the new store at 10225 Research Blvd., Suite 3500, starting June 27. After two weeks of shopping, the store will host some special opening events from July 10-13.
A ribbon cutting will officially celebrate the move July 10, from 9:45-10 am. There does not appear to be anything else planned that Thursday. Then from Friday, July 11, to Sunday, July 13, the opening weekend will include free World Market totes for the first 180 customers each day, a prize wheel, and free product samples.
Opening weekend hours are 10 am to 8 pm on Friday, 9 am to 8 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday…
