TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — In northwest Travis County, frustration continue to mount near the Sandy Creek bridge which was washed out by flooding last weekend.
As a result, vulnerable residents have been trapped without reliable transportation. Neighbors behind the washed-out bridge say it’s been days without a solution from the county, leaving them without a way to get their cars out and park elsewhere. While the county says help is on the way, tensions boiled over when one person threatened to run across the bridge, prompting a large police response.
“Emotions are boiling, we’ve had enough.” Abraham Stallins, who lives in the neighborhood, said. “We just want to leave, and we’re stuck here.”…
