AUSTIN, Texas — “I’m a survivor,” said Carol Schacherl, from her new apartment where she’s been living since being displaced from her family home.
Months after a propane explosion leveled a newly built home in Northwest Austin, and caused her own house to collapse, Schacherl is now suing six companies she believes share responsibility for the blast.
“I think a lawsuit like this is a way to really follow that through all necessary processes until you can find what went wrong and why, and people can be held accountable,” she said…
