AUSTIN (KXAN) — In a press release Monday, Austin Police released more details about an early morning homicide that occurred in the 800 block of East Braker Lane on July 19.

Officers were dispatched to the scene around 2:10 a.m. after a woman called 911 to report that she had been shot and another person was dead, according to the release. When they arrived, officers found the 911 caller and another man, both who had been shot.
Austin Police identified the man as 20-year-old Comarri Thompson, the woman’s boyfriend, in its release. The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
