Two adults were killed in a major traffic crash on Interstate 35 northbound at the 311 exit ramp Saturday night in Troy.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., the Troy Police Department responded to reports of a collision involving a Dodge Ram pickup, which was stopped on the shoulder of the interstate as the occupants attempted to change a flat tire. While the adults worked on the vehicle, a teenager stood in the grass median nearby.
According to investigators, a Kia Optima veered off the main traffic lanes and struck the rear of the Dodge Ram.
