Austin ISD to offer free breakfast, lunch at 76 campuses

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Independent School District (AISD) said it would provide free breakfast and lunch to all students at 76 campuses.

The meals are federally funded through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, which allows schools in low-income areas to serve free meals to all enrolled students, according to the district.

“Thanks to funding from the Texas Legislature, students approved for reduced-price meals will receive both breakfast and lunch at no cost during the 2025–26 school year,” AISD said…
