AUSTIN, Texas — CBS Austin news anchor Walt Maciborski formally accepted on Thursday the Texas Association of Broadcasters’ 2025 TV Broadcaster of the Year award.
The gala event was held at 7:30 p.m. CT at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock.
“Walt is always willing and eager to work with everyone in the station, demanding the most from himself, but also sharing his love for the craft of news gathering along the way,” said emcee Natalie Morales, host of “The Talk,” CBS’ Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show.
