AUSTIN, Texas — A man who was charged with murder after fatally stabbing a passenger aboard a CapMetro bus near downtown Austin in May has been deemed incompetent to stand trial.
31-year-old Deepak Kandel reportedly stabbed a male passenger he was on a CapMetro bus with around 6:45 p.m. on May 14th of this year in the 500 block of South Lamar Blvd. Kandel reportedly stabbed the male because he resembled Kandel’s uncle.
