Man sentenced in bail jumping case tied to Lakeway strangulation

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man accused of strangling another man at a Lakeway resort in 2020 was sentenced in February after failing to show up to court.

Henry Houston, 59, was initially charged with manslaughter related to the death of 66-year-old Frank Terlip in the parking garage of the Lakeway Resort and Spa.

During the court process for that case, a warrant was issued for Houston’s arrest to bring him before the court because he hadn’t shown up. He then faced a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear, a felony…
