AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police issued a warning about a planned “illegal street takeover event” scheduled for Friday night, threatening arrests and vehicle impoundments for participants.
The Austin Police Department said it is aware of the event called “ATX VS APD PT3” and will not tolerate the reckless driving associated with such gatherings.
