Authorities in Austin are calling for public cooperation following an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that transpired last month at Pinstack, a popular entertainment space on Canyon Ridge Drive. On the evening of August 15, two female suspects were reported to become confrontational within the establishment, resulting in the brandishing of a weapon and, later, a standoff with a security officer outside the business, though it should be noted that no injuries occurred as a result of the incident.
The confrontation unfolded shortly before 10:30 p.m. when the suspects allegedly argued with an employee and one of the individuals escalated the situation by drawing a firearm, leading to the security officer’s intervention and the suspects eventually fleeing in a white Chevrolet sedan, it’s a case that has prompted police to actively look for the individuals responsible, they were last spotted exiting the Pinstack parking lot making for the IH 35 service road.
The Austin Police Department has released descriptions of both the alleged aggressors and their vehicle in hopes of gleaning useful tips from the public: the first suspect, described as a Hispanic female with long black hair and a sleeve tattoo on her right arm, was seen donning clear-lensed glasses, a black polo, light blue jeans, and black and red Jordan shoes; her companion, slightly shorter, with dark brown hair, was recognized wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts, they sought escape in a 2013-2015 white Chevrolet Malibu…
